St. Louis roots
Colliers' roots in the greater St. Louis metropolitan region go back over three decades. Our founders owned multiple commercial real estate development, brokerage and property management platforms specializing in Class A office property before joining the Colliers International platform.
In 2015, the former St. Louis affiliate of Cushman & Wakefield, Gateway Commercial, joined Colliers International in the St. Louis market. Now, Colliers in St. Louis consists of nearly 60 employees with new leadership provided by Managing Director & Executive Vice President Kevin Gallagher, SIOR, CCIM.

St. Louis - Clayton
As Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Colliers St. Louis, Kevin leads a team of 60 professionals specializing in commercial real estate brokerage, property management, corporate solutions and capital markets. With over 29 years of experience in the industry, Kevin has developed several long-term client relationships, becoming their trusted real estate advisor. Specifically, Kevin specializes in office, industrial and land projects, guiding his clients through various leasing, sales and acquisition assignments. His strategic, thoughtful approach to real estate has made him a recognized industry leader.
Prior to joining Colliers, Kevin was Managing Director at Gateway Commercial, an affiliate of Cushman & Wakefield in St. Louis. During his time at Gateway, Kevin worked with a number of large, occupier clients such as Federal Express, Monsanto, MiTek (a Berkshire Hathaway Company), AB InBev, and Ameren Corp.
As a practicing attorney earlier in his career, Kevin represented institutional owners and lenders. He also served as an institutional asset manager and corporate real estate director. In those roles, he developed proficiency in multi-million dollar financing, restructuring, acquisition, disposition and lease transactions.
For a number of years, Kevin has worked with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He’s been a member of their Board of Directors since 2003 and continues to serve in this capacity.
