Sentiment slightly picked up despite low transaction volume
Some investors have remained reserved in Q3 as the market witnessed a low transaction level, but interest has seen signs of recovery as funds seek distressed asset opportunities. There is purchase requirement in the market but the bid-ask pricing gap is still causing dissonance in the decision-making process.
Highlights:
- Total volume of investment transactions fell 46% QoQ and 59% YoY.
- Investors should pay attention to small-sized hotels that offer attractive pricing, as well as defensive assets like neighbourhood malls and data centres.
