Many of the tenants are reassessing the size of their space. When contracts signed just before the pandemic period expire, we expect decreasing lease sizes ultimately resulting in higher vacancy.
We expect an increasing number of large deals within Slovak industrial market. Bratislava region stays interesting for e-commerce multinationals, whilst the Eastern part of the country, is capturing focus of the automotive players.
With a supply density of 822 m² of traditional shopping centres per 1,000 inhabitants, Bratislava’s retail scene looks far more saturated compared to
the regional peers, and space for further shopping centre expansion is limited.
