The Greater Los Angeles region encompasses the sprawling metropolitan areas across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties. Operating from nine offices, we serve clients with upwards of 165 brokerage specialists and 40 property management professionals, not to mention executive, marketing, research and other support staff.

One of the most competitive markets in the world, the commercial real estate industry in the greater Los Angeles area demands professionals who not only understand the intricate workings of the expansive region, but who can strategically position clients within its various submarkets.
Our capabilities include industrial, office, retail and multifamily landlord and tenant representation; capital markets and investment services; corporate solutions; valuation and advisory services; and property management.
We manage more than 16.4 million square feet of space within Greater Los Angeles; and in 2017, we closed more than 44.8 million square feet in leasing and sale transactions, totaling nearly $3.7 billion.
The heart of the Greater Los Angeles region, downtown Los Angeles is home to modern trophy office buildings as well as historical inventory undergoing conversion to creative office, retail and multifamily space.
The area tenant base is largely made up of legal, accounting and financial service sectors, as well as federal, state and local government agencies. This varied concentration of tenants provides a rich environment for companies.
Colliers has three offices that serve DTLA and surrounding areas:
- Downtown Los Angeles
Los Angeles’ South Bay market is a diverse collection of shoreline and neighboring cities that stretch from Marina del Rey to Long Beach.
This area is home to the major shipping ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, as well as the Los Angeles International Airport.
South Bay has a large concentration of both industrial and office product, with major industries including aerospace, automotive, telecommunications, information technology and healthcare.
Colliers has one office that services the South Bay:

North Los Angeles represents the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County, an area with strong ties to the rich entertainment industry for which Los Angeles is so well known.
The area provides ample space for companies to grow, without sacrificing access to the dense resources of central Los Angeles.
With a strong presence of commercial office, medical office and industrial product, this area also caters well to a tenant base of finance, insurance, healthcare and high-tech industries.

A relatively new market with moderate density, Orange County is home to a nice mix of office, retail and industrial space south of Los Angeles.
It is known for its master-planned communities, shopping malls and business headquarters.
Its tenant base consists of finance, insurance, high-tech, telecommunications, real estate, engineering and professional service sectors.
Such a varied concentration of professionals provides an ideal environment for businesses to thrive.
Colliers has one office that services Orange County:
A vital link on the nation’s supply chain, the Inland Empire is well known for its pervasive manufacturing, distribution and other industrial product.
The market boasts large and relatively new buildings, with 74% of industrial space in buildings greater than 100,000 square feet and 88% built in the past 20 years.
With the rise of e-commerce, the Inland Empire continues to attract large warehousing, distribution and logistics firms seeking to consolidate operations into expansive, state-of-the-art facilities.

Executive Managing Director, Greater Los Angeles
Los Angeles - Downtown
Jodie Poirier serves as Executive Managing Director for Colliers in Greater Los Angeles, leading one of the company’s largest market operations. In this role, she is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the region. Jodie brings a passion for business development and a proven track record of building teams and driving business growth.
Prior to rejoining Colliers in 2020, Jodie was a market leader at CBRE in both Los Angeles and Boston. From 2011 to 2014, she was a leader within Colliers Brokerage Services, responsible for strategy and growth of the U.S. Office and Industrial platforms, in addition to national practice groups. Jodie also played an active role in Colliers Institutional Client Services, an account management program focused on key institutional clients. Jodie’s background further includes time spent on the principal side of the business, as well as in real estate development, experience that adds value to her role today.
Regional Director of Operations
Los Angeles - Downtown
Michelle’s background includes a long history with Colliers International. Santone joined the firm in 1994 as an Administrative Assistant, eventually being promoted to Administrative Manager. She functioned in the capacity of Administrative Manager until 2001, at which time she accepted a Program Manager position with Master Halco.
As a Program Manager from 2001 to 2005, Santone worked directly with the buying teams of several of the large homebuilder stores, such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Ace Hardware, providing her with advantageous experience in vendor relations and the process of negotiation.
In 2005, Santone rejoined Colliers International in the role of Marketing Specialist for the firm’s to producing broker, Clyde Stauff. In early 2011, Michelle transitioned to the role of Operations Manager for the Downtown LA, Encino, Valencia and Brentwood offices. Santone now serves as the Regional Director of Operations, overseeing 10 offices in the Greater Los Angeles region.
