Ken is responsible for marketing on a national platform seniors housing assets for Colliers International National Seniors Housing Group. Ken has spent the last 30 years specializing in the brokerage of seniors housing assets closing in excess of $1.000,000.000. This sales volume is further increased by additional sales in medically related, healthcare properties. Ken attended several property shows in England and Germany, promoting acquisition opportunities to the foreign markets. Prior to joining Colliers International National Seniors Housing Group, Ken was a Director and Vice President of Investments with Marcus & Millichap's National Seniors Housing Group.
Ken graduated from NYU with a BSEE in 1970 and in 1972 received his graduate degree in biomedical engineering from Stevens Institute. Ken spent over 16 years in the hemodialysis field in biomedical research, design and sales, while working with the Federally funded End Stage Renal Disease program. Ken was instrumental in desinging a hemodialysis central delivery system that simultaneously dialyzed 30 patients . Ken designed and opened over 300 outpatient dialysis clinics worldwide. In the U.S., the Soviet Union, Japan, Nigeria, Paraguay, to name a few. In 1986, after a successful biomedical career, Ken sold his research and manufacturing firm in the northeast and moved to Florida. Ken continued as a consultant providing site locations and CON's for outpatient renal centers and soon become more involved in health care properties. Ken's background provided the opportunity to broker health care properties; eventually seniors housing became a major component of his assignments. Ken has become an accomplished and outstanding broker in the seniors housing field, and other medically related, healthcare brokerage activities.
