Early involvement in a project is key to success and something our project management teams advocate on all projects. In our experience, much of the savings to be gained on a project occur before design begins and our team of professionals is available to assist in conceptual budgeting, physical walks of properties, permitting context, and early identification of best-in-class design and construction partners.

As part of this phase, Colliers prepares comprehensive Requests for Proposal(s) (RFPs) for the architect, engineer and any additional vendors (low voltage cabling, audio-visual, security) that will result in competitive proposals from firms that are best qualified for the project. Colliers will manage the general contractor procurement process as well, working with the Architect and the Client to prepare pre-qualifications, the construction bid package and contract documents that will find the best price on all construction work while meeting quality and schedule constraints. Throughout this process, we will use our network of preferred sourcing partners to leverage volume buying agreements.

Administration of the construction phase includes oversight of your contractors, vendors and consultants. Our professionals provide the “glue’ that holds the project team together. We are proactively identifying risk, inspecting and certifying progress, and ensuring Client intent makes its way into the project at every step of the process, to produce a spectacular end-product.

This last phase of a project is critical. As well as design and construction may go, if the move process isn’t worry-free, seamless, and well-coordinated it can detract from an otherwise great project outcome. We provide the resources and organization to ensure a successful and positive move experience for the most important stakeholders, your internal customers.
