Trusted advisors around the corner, across the globe
Colliers recognizes that the healthcare industry has unique attributes that affect all aspects of real estate and facilities management, including financial and reimbursement structure, regulatory compliance requirements and governmental approval processes. As the industry continues to consolidate through mergers and acquisitions, we also know that healthcare providers are centralizing real estate management into corporate management structures, with increasing sophistication and controls so they need more integrated real estate services. To respond to these needs, Colliers developed an internal structure that distinguishes brokers with advanced expertise and experience in healthcare real estate as Fellows. This select group receives focused training, tools and development to continue to advance their skills, to network across the healthcare service line and to provide expertise nationally to healthcare clients.
National and regional leadership
Colliers’ entrepreneurial culture enables local and regional experts to seamlessly work together to provide the highest value to the client. Whether representing the seller or buyer, the local and regional experts can leverage off their relationships to target quality assets, often off-market while the national team brings their investment sales expertise; a “dream team” of contacts and knowledge all working together for the client.
Dedicated to healthcare
Focused on the healthcare industry, the team understands the risks, both financial and regulatory allowing them an insight into the unique variables that bring value to a healthcare asset. Recognizing the importance that healthcare system tenants bring to a building, from their strategic position in the market to their bond rating, the team understands how to assess and value the long-term impact of the investment.
Integrated real estate services
This team can bring to the investor experts from across Colliers to help with managing their assets. Local landlord and tenant reps can ensure higher occupancy with credit worthy tenants, maximizing the rewards of the investment and minimizing the risks.
The property management team can help bring capital investment, increasing common area appeal and infrastructure spending so that the next owner knows that the investment has been well maintained (repairs, regular maintenance, etc).
