Fixed Income Capital Markets

Sales and Trading – Colliers securities trades actively in both tax-exempt and taxable secondary markets. The goal is to provide value and liquidity for our clients.

Tax-exempt Trading – While Colliers securities offers a broad variety of municipal securities, we specialize in trading non-rated revenue bonds. Combining trading expertise with research on each issue can provide value to investors and liquidity at critical times.

Taxable Trading – Colliers securities actively trades non-investment grade corporate debt, mortgage-backed securities and mortgage derivatives.

Equity Capital Markets

The Equity Capital Markets division pursues two related goals. We discover valuable, actionable investment ideas using proprietary information and then focus on efficient execution, enabling clients to capitalize on those ideas.

Research Team – The Colliers securities research group is composed of analysts who have come together out of a passion for extensive, in-depth research. We specialize in the overlooked and under-researched investment opportunities of smaller-cap companies, with special emphasis on independent information sources and innovative thinking.

Research Coverage – The research coverage is idea-driven and balances the twin demands of opportunism for flexibility and universe consistency for maximization of information sources.

Our Analysts

Barry Oxford serves as Senior Research Analyst and joined Colliers Securities in April 2021 and has initiate coverage of the real estate sector, focusing on the office, industrial and triple net real estate companies. Previously, he was with D.A. Davidson & Co as a Senior Real Estate Analyst for the previous seven years. Prior to this, he spent 10 years on the buy side as a research analyst for Invesco, UBS and Colonial First State. He started his career at Alex. Brown & Sons on the II-ranked real estate team. Mr. Oxford holds an MBA with a finance concentration from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College and a bachelor's degree in Economics and English from Denison University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

David Toti serves as Managing Director | REITs and joined the research team to expand coverage in the REIT space.  Prior to joining Colliers Securities, David spent 15+ years on the sell-side leading REIT equity research teams for a variety of firms, including Lehman Brothers, CITI, FBR, Cantor and BB&T.  Before Wall Street, David was a project design manager for a leading architectural design firm.  David is a graduate of Syracuse and also holds a Master's in Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  This strategic appointment strengthens our goal of building upon Colliers' strong real estate platform.
