After experiencing an active and robust fourth quarter of 2021 and first quarter of 2022, the North I-680 office market has since
cooled off. The overall vacancy rate increased to 19.6 percent, an increase of 50 basis points from the second quarter. Overall weighted asking rents slightly increased this quarter. Absorption ended Q3 with negative 116,579 square feet as leasing activity came to a standstill.
