From Constricted to Confounded
As we move into the winter months, the North I-680 Corridor industrial market remains relatively unchanged. The overall vacancy rate increased to 9.3 percent, from 8.1 percent the previous quarter. This marks the highest vacancy rate in the region in 10 years. Most of this can be attributed to 300,000 square feet of negative absorption in a single building in Antioch. Overall average asking rents decreased to $0.75 from $0.80 last quarter.
