Increased Momentum Reveals Positive Gains
The Class A office market vacancy improved 80 basis points to 16.5 percent quarter-to-quarter. Asking rates remain relatively flat
at $3.14 per square foot; an increase of nearly 3.0 percent in twelve months. As large blocks of space afflicting the office market for several quarters were absorbed by tenants relocating within the Tri-Valley, absorption reported positive net gains of 126,030 square feet in four quarters. Year-to-date gross absorption of nearly 300,000 square feet in the second quarter, marked an improvement of 153.0 percent in one year.
