Reno’s Office Market Strength on Display

MR_RNO_OFC_21Q2_175x227

Reno’s office market activity has remained strong through the first half of 2021. While many other markets have been burdened by sublease office space and rising vacancies over the past fifteen months, Reno has avoided the influx of vacant sublease space quite well. Though the market saw a slight increase in vacancy this quarter, year-to-date net absorption has stayed positive. Leasing activity has remained steady and sales volumes have grown significantly during this quarter. With operating capacities making a return to 100 percent this past quarter, Reno should see escalating demand for office space in the near-term.
