In line with the national trend, the industrial sector of the Triad has continued to boom.

    In line with the national trend, the industrial sector of the Triad, consisting of Greensboro, High Point, and Winston Salem, has continued to boom. This boom is largely due to the continued interest in ecommerce, which has been intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic. Vacancies have continued to remain low, and rental rates have continued to trend upwards due to high demand and low new inventory being added to the market. The Triad saw nearly 2.86 million square feet deliver in the past eight quarters (the majority of which attributed to Amazon’s fulfillment center adding over a million square feet). There is 3.2 million square feet currently underway, with 2.6 million scheduled to deliver before the end of 2021.

Hunter also previously worked in finance and sales as a commercial mortgage broker. Prior to joining Colliers, Andrew was a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Logistics and Industrial Service Group, serving clients with tenant representation and agency leasing services.
