The industrial sector is beginning to show signs of slowing down as demand for industrial buildings has begun to soften due to continued rising interest rates, persistent inflation, and general uncertainty with larger economy as a whole. After record breaking activity in 2021, 2022 closed out the year with the second highest level of activity. A key component of these record-breaking numbers can be attributed to the COVID pandemic. The national industrial market outlook has changed with slower sales and transaction volume. However, the Omaha industrial market should continue to see growth.
