Omaha Market Continues to Hold Steady Despite Concerns of Inflation
Despite the concern for inflation, the Omaha market continues to hold steady. The Omaha market saw a net absorption of 216,931 square feet in the quarter. Central West Dodge submarket saw the greatest net absorption of 72,685 square feet, while the South Central submarket contained the highest loss of absorption for the quarter of negative 26,925 square feet. The office vacancy rate dropped to 9.5 percent which is down 160 basis points from the last quarter vacancy rate of 11.1 percent.
