- The vacancy rate in greater Los Angeles remained the same at 6.4% from last quarter, while rents continued to gradually increase for three consecutive quarters.
- Q4 marks the fourth consecutive quarter of positive absorption, amounting to 5.2M SF of retail space newly occupied by tenants in 2021. This absorption has already more than made up for the 3.4M SF of occupancy losses, seen in the six quarters of negative absorption before 2021.
- For the second time since the COVID-19 closures, this quarter closed out with positive net absorption across all greater Los Angeles counties.
