Over $4.5 Billion in Hospitality Sales in 2021

  • Year end sales volume tops $4.5 billion
  • Hospitality market approximately 75% recovered
  • Gaming revenue in 2021 exceeded 2019

Southern Nevada’s hospitality occupancy continued to climb, reaching 77.6% in November 2021, and averaging 79.6% for the fourth quarter of 2021. Gaming revenue was $10.5 billion year to date in November 2021, up from $9.4 billion in 2019 with a room occupancy rate 20 points lower. Southern Nevada’s hospitality market made immense strides in 2021, and should continue to recover in 2022, albeit perhaps at a slightly slower pace.
