Looking back on 2021, the resilience of our city is to be commended. Despite ongoing challenges facing the local economy, industry and people, the last year has shown the strength of our community. We’ve made dramatic changes to our lifestyle, work environments, daily interactions and the way we conduct business. Through hard work, dedication and resiliency, we were able to deliver extraordinary results amid the challenges caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic. Additional challenges will remain throughout the upcoming year; however, I am confident we will continue to adapt and innovate to better serve the Kansas City business community.
Throughout changing climates and markets, our purpose at Colliers Kansas City-Lawrence remains the same: to serve the needs of our clients. As we take time to reflect on the Kansas City commercial real estate market in 2021, we are also focused on the future and what changes to the industry will look like going forward. Delivering key data and insight is a priority to put our clients in a position to make informed decisions now and in the future.
We hope you remain healthy and safe throughout 2022. We are optimistic about the upcoming year and eager to reconnect soon.
