Restaurant consumer shopping habits have evolved over the past couple of years, with a heightened emphasis on drive-thru, takeout, delivery and outside dining. In turn, restaurants are increasingly seeking smaller footprints to prioritize drive-thru capacity and patio space. This development is particularly relevant for real estate developers as they layout floor plans for a new project or redevelopment.
