Like so many areas around the country, the Grand Rapids office sector has had its ups and downs throughout the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unlike other metropolitan areas, many Grand Rapids workers are returning to the office and starting to push up demand.

Demand has outweighed supply for new office spaces in Q2 in the Grand Rapids office sector. This is positive, though there are still significant challenges for office space as the vacancy rate slowly increases. The good news is positive demand is expected to continue.
