As Q1 2022 indicated, 2022 will be another strong year for the West Michigan industrial sector, with little to no slowdown
predicted.
Along with markets across the U.S., West Michigan is continuing to see extremely low vacancy rates, growth in rental rates and
high absorption in the industrial sector, a pattern that started before the COVID-19 pandemic, continued throughout the past
two years as other sectors slowed, and will continue for the foreseeable future.
As a result, locally the most challenging part of Q1 was accommodating demand.
