Atlanta Industrial Market Overview - First Quarter 2021

Strong occupancy gains over the first three months of the year were enough for Atlanta's industrial market to take the nation's top spot in total space absorbed this quarter. The 10.8 million square feet also represents the second highest amount of quarterly absorption ever in Atlanta's history.

The positive quarter pushes overall vacancy down to 5.4%, the lowest ever on record. Space demand remains steady and industrial construction in the Atlanta market has increased to just under 29 million square feet to keep pace, another record high.
