Buckhead vacancy climbs higher in Q3.
Buckhead has recorded its third straight quarter of negative absorption resulting in year-to-date reaching -222k SF. In accordance with absorption, vacancy increased by 150 basis points to 22.5%. Contributing to this vacancy was the delivery of 365k SF of Class A office space belonging to One Phipps Plaza. Future scheduled move ins by Goldman Sachs and Novelis should recoup some of this increase in vacancy.
