Central Perimeter records third straight positive quarter.

After absorbing a notable 362,000 square feet of space in Q2, Central Perimeter finds itself in an improved position compared to this time last year. This strong quarter brings the vacancy rate to 19.6%, a 120-basis point decrease from the previous quarter. In addition, occupancy levels continued to rise to a level of 80.4% as a result of a handful of mid-size move ins this year. Conversely, sublease availability continues to climb (4.3%) and may lead to an adverse effect on rental rates. Nevertheless, the outlook for this submarket remains encouraging as it continues to attract tenants and rebound from the negative activity created by Covid.

What you'll learn in this quarter's Central Perimeter Office Market Report:

  • Vacancy and availability
  • Absorption and leasing activity
  • Rental rates
  • Construction activity
