  • Northwest Atlanta had its best year ever of occupancy gains in 2021.

Northwest Atlanta Industrial Submarket Q4 2021 Overview

Northwest Atlanta capped off the year with over 888,000 square feet of industrial space absorbed in the fourth quarter, bringing the annual total to a record 3.7-million square feet for the submarket. The milestone year was set up by numerous occupancies under 500,000 square feet; a populate space category in the Atlanta market as a whole in 2021. Logistics, warehousing & packaging, and manufacturing companies were the most active this year. Give the submarket’s consistently low vacancy, construction activity has increased to its highest level ever. This will create space opportunities for prospects in the submarket.
