Stallion Mountain Golf Club - #1

Stallion Mountain is a championship caliber course located within a 2,600 home, guard gated

community. Originally named Sunrise Country Club and totaling 54 holes, the facility was

developed in 3 phases: 1991, 1992, and 1995. Billy Walters purchased the property in 1997

and renamed it Stallion Mountain Country Club. In 2004, 2 of the courses were sold to Pulte

Homes, leaving a single course on 196.93 acres. The course, with views of the Las Vegas Strip

and Sunrise Mountain, is 7,272 yards long, plays to 73.6 from the back tees, and is the former

site of the PGA Las Vegas Invitational and Pepsi Tour Events. Mature pines, undulating bunker

lined fairways, and 6 lakes in play on 10 holes, make the course a challenge for golfers of all

levels. In addition, Stallion Mountain boasts one of the finest practice facilities in Las Vegas: 16

acre, 40 tee driving range, 5 practice putting greens, 2 practice chipping greens and 2 practice

The clubhouse facility offers significant potential return. The tastefully appointed “Members”

club and “Squire” club total 37,500 square feet with a large, full service kitchen, and a combined

banquet capacity of 600 people. Located east of the strip with convenient freeway and major

thoroughfare access, the course and clubhouses can easily serve a wide segment of both local

residents and tourists for daily fee golf, tournaments, and wedding/banquet services.
