Clear Creek at Tahoe - #1

The 6,868 yard, par 72 layout is enhanced by naturally rolling terrain, sandy loam soil, and an abundance of appealing

rock and land formations. Besides the 200 foot tee to green drop on the par 4 third, Coore Crenshaw avoided the

conventions of typical “mountain golf” design and instead used the land to route a traditional, strategic golf course. An

interesting mix of fairways range from the 60 yard-wide, severely sloped left to right, 16th, to the 30 yard-wide diagonal

shoot of the short 14th. Natural, ragged-edged bunkers line the fairways and protect the greens. Beyond the bunkers

and variety of native grasses, Ponderosa Pines are an ever-present barrier between the course and dense forest.

Clear Creek is a timeless design that allows the golfer to enjoy spectacular alpine views while playing a modern classic.
