Colliers Bolsters Maryland Presence with Addition of Four Professionals

Experienced Transwestern Professionals Have Overseen Billions of Dollars in Transactions, will Focus on Firm’s Rapidly Growing Regional Industrial Practice

BALTIMORE, DECEMBER 16, 2020 — Leading global commercial real estate services and investment management firm Colliers International Group Inc. announces it has hired four industry veterans to join its Baltimore office. Established brokers Tom Gentner, Brian Watts, Brian Siegel and Jason Sullivan are all coming from Transwestern.

The new hires will report to Executive Managing Director & Market Leader Matt Gannon and focus mainly on industrial leasing with an additional emphasis on the office sector throughout Maryland.

Gentner, Watts, and Siegel all join the firm as Senior Vice Presidents. Over the course of their decorated careers to date, the trio has been involved in hundreds of transactions for world-class clients including Cabot Properties, Rialto Capital, Dalfen Industrial, CW Capital and LNR Partners, among many others. The group has collectively leased or sold more than 40 million square feet of space across the region with a transaction value reaching into the billions of dollars. Sullivan, who over the last 5 years has established himself as a rising star in the commercial real estate industry, will join as a Vice President.

“This addition of these professionals exemplifies the strategic growth of our practice, and will deepen our service capabilities and platform strength along the eastern seaboard,” said Gannon. “In light of the region’s rapidly expanding industrial sector, welcoming this highly experienced group allows us to expand our footprint throughout Maryland."

The new brokers join a quickly growing practice that is closely focused on the greater Baltimore region including Executive Vice President Michael Blunt, who has been spearheading the firm’s industrial capital markets business in the greater Baltimore area.

“Our platform’s ability to seamlessly partner capital markets and brokerage professionals when servicing clients regionally has proven to be a real competitive advantage,” said Blunt.
