Research from Colliers Hong Kong: Growth in agile working, demand for cloud services and the desired expansion of mainland and multinational companies in Hong Kong has created a growing demand for data centers. Despite more than 1.8 million square feet of new data center space being supplied in the next three years, the supply-demand gap still creates both short and long-term investment opportunities.

In their latest research report they recommend investors to look at Kwai Tsing area for near-term conversion opportunities, and they believe Tuen Mun and Lok Ma Chau should be better-positioned as the longer-term data center options.
