A four-unit apartment property at 2239-45 Curlew Street in Bankers Hill was sold for $1.9 million, according to an Oct. 29 announcement from Marcus & Millichap.
Austin Ray Huffman, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap's San Diego office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The buyer, also a private investor, was secured and represented by Bud Marsh of Colliers International.
The property was built in 1927. It is comprised exclusively of 2-bed/1-bath units, all of which have undergone extensive interior and exterior renovations.
At $475,000 per unit, the sale represents the highest price-per-door sale for a four-plex in Bankers Hill of similar vintage, according to Marcus & Millichap.
