Mixed use project combines apartments and retail shops

A South Park mixed use project that combines apartments and retail shops has been sold for $5.5 million.

Midwest Investment Properties, LLC acquired the property at 3006-3020 Beech St. from UBS Properties, LP.

Bill Shrader, Joe Brady and Amy McNamara of Colliers International Urban Property Team represented UBS Properties.

Brady, McNamara and Ryan Foley of Colliers International represented Midwest Investment Properties.

“San Diego’s urban neighborhoods continue to be a hot spot for investors,” Shrader said. “This property has been under the same family ownership for more than 70 years and provided a rare opportunity to acquire a well-located property that is home to some of San Diego’s best known culinary and craft beer experiences.”

The 12,398 square-foot property includes three apartments and three retail spaces.

Tenants include Hamilton’s Tavern, South Park Brewing Co. and KINDRED.
