Colliers Selected as Exclusive Agent for the Turning Basin Building

RICHMOND, VA, August 24, 2022 – Colliers is pleased to announce it has been selected by Jewell Capital, LLC as the exclusive leasing agent for the Turning Basin Building located at 111 Virginia Street in Richmond, Virginia.

  

Turning Basin Building is a unique and creative class A office building located in the Shockoe Slip in Downtown Richmond. Its central location is within walking distance to amenities including the James River Park System, Historic Canal Walk, and hotels and restaurants on E Cary St. The building has a unique aesthetic that is a cross between creative, historic renovation and conventional office towers around Richmond’s central business district. Suites available for lease range from 3,376/SF up to 16,019/SF.

  

Renovations to the common areas have begun to give the building a modern refresh. In addition to these recent improvements, tenants can enjoy the penthouse terrace and common area patio.

Frank focuses on landlord and tenant representation, lease negotiation, and the disposition of commercial properties. 

Prior to joining, he worked at JLL managing AstraZeneca’s 9 million square foot real estate portfolio in North and South America consisting of office, industrial, and lab space. 

After graduating from the Virginia Military Institute, Frank worked for CBRE in Washington D.C. on a team that handled transactions for the United States Postal Service. As a Transaction Manager he negotiated 122 leases across the United States.

Mrs. Walker joined Colliers in November 2017.  She specializes in leasing office, flex and medical buildings, representing both tenants and landlords.  She comes from a direct sales background in DC & Maryland after graduating from Virginia Tech in 2013 with a degree in Communications.
