RICHMOND, Va., February 16, 2022 – Colliers is pleased to announce its latest round of new hires and promotions within its Real Estate Management Services division in Virginia.
Brian Hill
Brian Hill was promoted to associate director of Project Management. Hill joined Colliers in 2018 as a project manager. He specializes in government-leased assets, providing day-to-day coordination of project consultants, contractors, and contract administration. He is an expert in project scoping, design services management, competitive bidding, and project closeout. Prior to Colliers, Hill was a facilities manager for Lakewood Continuing Care Retirement Community. In addition to his bachelor’s degree in building surveying, Hill received his certificate in management studies from the Oxford College of Further Education. In his new role, Hill will be working closely with the senior director of Project Management, assisting with the day-to-day team management, developing SoP’s for the department and working closely with colleagues across the company and outside clients and vendors, to further meet their needs for Project Management Services.
Lisa McWhirt, Associate, AIA
Lisa McWhirt, Associate AIA was promoted to associate director of Project Management. McWhirt joined Colliers in 2014. She specializes in project facility assessment and strategy, project development, design and planning, and move management. Prior to joining Colliers, McWhirt was a project manager/associate at Baskervill Architects where she managed a variety of building types throughout North America. McWhirt received her Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia. In her new role, Lisa will be working closely with the senior director of Project Management, assisting with the day-to-day team management, developing SoP’s for the department and working closely with colleagues across the company and outside clients and vendors, to further meet their needs for Project Management Services.
Justin Scislowicz
Justin Scislowicz was promoted to senior property manager. Scislowicz joined Colliers in November of 2020 as a property manager, responsible for the oversight of a 750,000 square foot portfolio. Prior to Colliers, Scislowicz worked in various property management positions, developing vast knowledge and background experience. As a senior property manager, Justin will continue to work on his existing account, with added focus on improving efficiencies of day to day operations.
Ben Halstead
Ben Halstead was promoted to assistant property manager. Halstead joined Colliers in July of 2021 as a property administrator responsible for facilitating utility set ups and onboarding new property sites for a national healthcare portfolio. Prior to Colliers, Halstead worked for Wells Fargo for nine years. As an assistant property manager, Halstead will continue to onboard new sites for his clients as well as handle projects needed for the transition.
Allison Patterson
Allison “Ally” Patterson was promoted to senior assistant property manager. Patterson joined Colliers in September of 2020 as an assistant property manager where she was responsible for assisting property managers with the oversight of a 3.5 million square foot portfolio. Prior to Colliers, Patterson worked for Divaris Property Management as an assistant property manager. In her new role, Patterson will facilitate the training of assistant property managers alongside Kelly Perkins, assist in the creation and maintenance of training documents and programs, as well as be a mentor to her team in addition to her duties as an assistant property manager.
Kelly Perkins
Kelly Perkins was promoted to senior assistant property manager. Perkins joined Colliers as an assistant property manager In 2019, responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations and administrative duties such as preparing budgets and maintaining tenant and vendor relationships. Prior to Colliers, Perkins was a facilities coordinator with CBRE. As a senior assistant property manager, Perkins will work alongside Ally Patterson to assist in the creation and maintenance of training documents and programs, as well as continue in her responsibilities as an assistant property manager.
In addition to the promotions, Colliers welcomed eleven new team members:

• Vicky Moreno joined as a property manager in Albuquerque, New Mexico
• Janita Roberson joined as the receptionist for the Richmond office
• Greg Chen joined as an accounts payable coordinator in Richmond
• Cierra Bracey joined as an accounts payable coordinator in Richmond
• Cindy Johnson joined as a lease administrator
• James “Jimmy” Glidden joined as a lease administrator
• Mary Civis joined as an assistant property manager in Tempe, Arizona
