Richmond, Virginia – September 2020 – Colliers International Virginia, LLC has announced sixteen promotions within the company’s Real Estate Management Services (REMS) division.
Portfolio Management:
Greg Nachman joined Colliers in 2013 as an assistant property manager and has since received many promotions, including his most recent as a senior portfolio manager. Mr. Nachman oversees the property management, budgeting and financial reporting for Class A and B office space, U.S. Federal leased facilities, industrial warehouses, medical office, and retail space. His current portfolio consists of over 1.5 million square feet. Mr. Nachman holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.
Henry Wilcox was promoted from senior property manager to senior portfolio manager. He is responsible for the oversight of a retail portfolio exceeding one million square feet in Hampton Roads. Mr. Wilcox has over 10 years of experience in commercial property management and brokerage. In addition to having his CPM designation, Mr. Wilcox received his CCIM designation in 2019.
Stephen Sneed was promoted to senior portfolio manager. He has over 20 years of experience managing Class A and B office spaces, shopping centers and industrial properties. He is responsible for over two million square feet of commercial office and warehouse facilities in the Greater Richmond area. Mr. Sneed holds a CPM and Certified Shopping Center (CSM) designation.
Property Management:
Darlene Harris was promoted to property manager. Ms. Harris joined Colliers in April of 2018 as an assistant property manager where she assisted on over 3.7 million square feet of commercial space. In her new role, she is responsible for managing all aspects of her portfolio of commercial properties, including overseeing all operational and financial activities.
Hallie Hawkins was promoted to assistant property manager. She joined Colliers in 2018 as the receptionist for the Richmond office. In her new role as an assistant property manager, she will be responsible for assisting in the management of over 700,000 square feet, tenant, and vendor relations, and overseeing the day-to-day property maintenance requests and repairs for her portfolio.
Jason Morse was promoted to assistant property manager after previously working as a building engineer. In his new role, Mr. Morse is responsible for supporting multiple property managers with day-to-day operations. In addition, he assists the Colliers’ Government Solutions group.
Jimmy Fitch was promoted to property manager after working as an assistant property manager for two years. He aids in the management of all aspects of various commercial portfolios. He was promoted to property manager and directly manages over 100,000 square feet. Prior to joining Colliers, Mr. Fitch studied at Virginia Tech where he graduated from the Property Management Program.
Phil Van Ness joined Colliers in April of 2020 as an assistant property manager, he was promoted shortly thereafter to property manager where he manages a 600,000 square foot portfolio with over 100 locations. Prior to joining Colliers, Phil was running his family’s business, AW Shucks Country Store from its inception in 2011 where he mastered the particulars of the retail and hospitality industries.
Rebecca Woolard joined Colliers in 2017 as a property manager with 9 years of property management experience. She was promoted to senior property manager where she is responsible for the oversight of property operations as well as communication between tenant, owner, and vendors. Ms. Woolard holds a CPM designation.
Building Services:
Cyril Connaughton was promoted from lead engineer to chief engineer. As a chief engineer, he leads a team of five and is the liaison between his team, property and assistant property managers. Mr. Connaughton has been with Colliers since November of 2010.
Donnie Ladd was promoted from building engineer to lead engineer.
Doug Wilberger was promoted from lead engineer to chief engineer. Mr. Wilberger joined Colliers in August of 2012 as a building engineer and has received many promotions since. He oversees over 500,000 square feet in properties.
John Snyder was promoted to lead engineer. His current responsibilities include ensuring the property management team are equipped with essential resources to maintain operations of all the company’s properties in Atlanta. Mr. Snyder joined Colliers in 2016 as a building engineer for three years prior to his promotion.
Administration:
Elaine Weaver was promoted to senior property administrator after working as a property administrator for a year and a half. In her new role, she is responsible for processing all contracts for property management and maintaining vendor information. Ms. Weaver has been with the company since April of 2017.
Kirstin Demmer joined Colliers in February 2020 as real estate coordinator and was promoted shortly thereafter to lease administrator in September of 2020. In her new role, Ms. Demmer is responsible for day-to-day lease administration functions and collections. She coordinates the lease administration functions for more than 2 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail spaces.
Michele Garrett joined Colliers in April of 2014 as the senior lease administrator and has over 15 years of commercial property management experience. She was promoted to associate director where she is responsible for day-to-day lease administration functions and collections, as well as the preparation of annual real estate tax reconciliations and Consumer Price Index (CPI) increases allotted in government leases.
