Colliers Continues to Grow with 12 New Hires

Richmond, VA, July 29, 2021 – Colliers International (“Colliers”) is pleased to announce the addition of twelve new members within its fast-growing real estate management services (REMS) division.

 

Jake Fletcher

Jake joined as an assistant property manager where he will be supporting the property management of a national healthcare client with over 200 locations. Prior to Colliers, Jake was managing land for several owners for over ten years.

 

Lori Westerlund

Lori joined as a facility manager responsible for the facility, property, and project management of a 350,000 square foot government-leased office building in Richmond. Lori has over 25 years experience working in operations and facilities management. Prior to Colliers, Lori worked for Circuit City for 17 years as a facilities coordinator and most recently, Northrop Grumman for 11 years where she was a facilities representative.

 

Joshua Gerena

Joshua Gerena joined as a technical support specialist.

 

K.C. Burzio

K.C. joined as a senior property manager. Her responsibilities include managing tenant relationships, property inspections, monthly financial reporting and budget preparation, interfacing with asset managers, project managing smaller construction projects, and providing assistance to leasing agents. K.C. came to Colliers with over 29 years of experience in property management, most recently, she worked with Redwood Commercial Management as a commercial property manager.

 

Oliver Flood

Oliver joined Colliers as a transaction manager where he is responsible for the management and coordination of the lease transactions for a national healthcare client. Prior to joining Colliers, Oliver worked for SunTrust Bank, now Truist, as a mortgage loan processor and a mortgage loan coordinator. Most recently, Oliver worked for CoStar as a multifamily research analyst where he was responsible for advising clients on market performance trends and rent comparable analyses, and improving the coverage and depth of multifamily property data.

 

Blake Saunders

Blake Saunders joined as an assistant property manager where she will be supporting the Government Solutions Group. Prior to Colliers, Blake worked as an assistant property manager at Landmark Property Services for two years.

 

Benjamin Halstead

Benjamin Halstead joined as a property administrator after previously working for Wells Fargo for nine years. He is responsible for the onboarding of new sites and assisting with projects for a national healthcare client.

  • Brek Moreno joined as a day porter
  • TJ Kite joined as a building engineer
  • Aaron Smith joined as a building engineer
  • Lorezno Johnson joined as a lead engineer

Blake Saunders

Assistant Property Manager

Blake joined Colliers in July of 2021 as an assistant property manager supporting the Government Solutions Group with the day-to-day property management operations of government-leased facilities. Prior to joining the firm, Blake worked as an assistant property manager for Landmark Property Services, an apartment rental agency, for tyears where she mastered the duties of a property manager including tenant and vendor relationships and lease and budget maintenance. Prior to Landmark Property Services, Blake worked in the retail industry for four years.

Todd Willett

Regional Managing Director, REMS VA

Richmond - North

Todd Willett is the Regional Managing Director of REMS|Virginia  and oversees and coordinates a team of real estate managers and support staff responsible for over 50  million square feet of office, flex, industrial, and retail assignments. Todd has 25 years of experience and joined the firm in 1998. Previously he was with a real estate development company for nine years where he was responsible for development, property management, accounting and administration for office buildings, medical centers and industrial properties. In addition, Todd spent three years managing residential properties in Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads. In Northern Virginia, he was responsible for 3,000 residential properties which consisted of single family homes, apartments and condominiums. In the Hampton Roads area, Todd was responsible for 500 resort homes and condominiums. Todd is a Certified Property Manager and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Virginia Wesleyan College. He recently served as the Regional Vice President of the Institute of Real Estate Management.
