Colliers Facilitates Multiple Lease Transactions Valued Over $2.7 Million

Richmond, VA – October 2, 2020 – Colliers International Virginia, LLC has successfully secured two new leases and one renewal across Virginia and one lease renewal in Colorado. This week’s transactions combined for a total of 104,823 square feet and are valued at over $2.7 million.

New transactions included:

  • Kultivate Wellness leased 1,549 square feet of retail space at 12121 W Broad Street in Henrico. Colliers’ Peter Vick and Harrison Hall represented the landlord

Renewals consisted of the following:

  • Lumber Liquidators Inc renewed its 8,005 square foot lease at 8204 Park Meadows Drive in Lone Tree, Colorado. Colliers’ Peter Vick, Harrison Hall, Hamilton Shaheen and David Wilkins represented the tenant
  • XPO Logistics Inc. renewed its 87,769 square foot industrial lease at 2901 Bells Road in Richmond. Colliers John Carpin represented the tenant

Prior to joining Colliers, Peter was Senior Vice President of Retail Sales and Leasing at Divaris Real Estate in Richmond, VA. Before that, Peter began his real estate career in 2008 with The Wilton Companies in their third-party brokerage department. In 2010, he joined NAI Eagle as a founding partner and principal.

Prior to joining Colliers, Hamilton worked for Marcus & Millichap in their San Diego office located in La Jolla, California. Hamilton provided value to a top multifamily investment sales team as a financial analyst and researcher. John Carpin

John Carpin has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with his primary responsibilities including landlord representation of industrial and office/medical properties for both institutional and local owners. In addition, he is involved with tenant representation for both national and local clients. In these capacities, John has represented landlords and tenants in the identification, acquisition and disposition of commercial assets. Since 1996, John has completed over 850 transactions totaling over $276 million in value and has been involved in over 10 million square feet of leasing transactions, while handling a portfolio of over 2.5 million square feet of office/medical and industrial properties.

In addition to Landlord and tenant representations, John has experience in investment/building and land sales. This work has provided vital experience in the building development process (pro forma evaluation), project management, (P.O.D. process, selection of architects, engineers and contractors, etc.) and lease procurement and negotiations.
