Colliers Welcomes 14 New Hires

Richmond, VA, September 20, 2021 – Colliers International (“Colliers”) in Virginia is pleased to announce the addition of fourteen new members within its real estate management services (REMS) and brokerage divisions.

 

Property Accounting

 

Patrick Cox

Patrick joined as a property accountant responsible for providing accounting for 22 properties across 8 states, totaling over 1 million square feet. In addition, Patrick works closely with various departments to gather information needed to provide complete and accurate monthly and yearly financials. Prior to Colliers, Patrick was with Marco Property Services as a senior property accountant.

 

Kleme Yarh

Kleme joined as a property accountant after working for Eucalyptus Real Estate in Oklahoma. He has in-depth experience in preparing financial reports, monthly bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivables, and many other general accounting functions.

 

Sheila Harris-Flowers

Sheila joined as a senior property accountant with over 17 years-experience. She is an expert in the reconciliation of accounts, processing of cash payments, and the set-up of new lease properties. Prior to Colliers, Sheila held multiple positions at Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer since 2003. Most recently, Sheila was a staff accountant.

 

Property Management

Trévon Dawson

Trévon joined as an assistant property manager in Northern Virginia supporting the Government Solutions Group on 4 million square feet of government-leased assets. Prior to Colliers, Trevon worked for Greystar Management as an assistant property manager in Washington, DC.

 

Bernardine Cde Baca

Bernardine joined as a senior property manager with over 24 years experience. She is focused on government-leased assets based in New Mexico. Prior to Colliers, Bernardine held numerous real estate leadership positions for 15 years for several investors, to her most recent position as a senior property manager at Hertz Investment Group.

 

Brokerage

Julia Howard

Julia joined as graphic designer supporting the Capital Markets team. Julia first worked in the Washington, DC office in 2018 as a senior client services coordinator before transitioning into her role as a graphic designer in 2020.

 

Jevell Bledsoe

Jevell joined as a transaction manager supporting the Richmond brokerage team with client relationship management, transaction management, client lase portfolio analysis, and financial analysis. Prior to Colliers, Jevell worked for Costar as a customer relationship consultant.

 

Project Management

Lisa Paige joined as an assistant project manager.

 

Engineering Services

  • Kimry Begaye joined as a day porter in Arizona
  • Albert Robinson joined as a building engineer in Atlanta
  • William Bass joined as a maintenance technician
  • Mark Stewart joined as a building engineer

Todd Willett is the Regional Managing Director of REMS|Virginia  and oversees and coordinates a team of real estate managers and support staff responsible for over 50  million square feet of office, flex, industrial, and retail assignments. Todd has 25 years of experience and joined the firm in 1998. Previously he was with a real estate development company for nine years where he was responsible for development, property management, accounting and administration for office buildings, medical centers and industrial properties. In addition, Todd spent three years managing residential properties in Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads. In Northern Virginia, he was responsible for 3,000 residential properties which consisted of single family homes, apartments and condominiums. In the Hampton Roads area, Todd was responsible for 500 resort homes and condominiums. Todd is a Certified Property Manager and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Virginia Wesleyan College. He recently served as the Regional Vice President of the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Joe Marchetti

Managing Director

Joseph Marchetti has over 34 years of experience in the real estate brokerage, asset services and corporate advisory services business. As Managing Director of the Richmond office, Joe is primarily responsible for leading the brokerage and asset services teams to be the top performers in the local market. Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing the offices in Charlottesville and Fredericksburg. Joe has consistently been one of the top producers in the Richmond market focusing on the office, office/flex and industrial product types. He has leadership and management experience in all phases of commercial real estate: marketing, development, site selection, leasing and sales. Real estate owners and investors seek his management and leasing value upon disposition. Joe has developed a team of bright, competent, friendly, trustworthy people who are capable of developing positive, long-term relationships with our customers. Joe specializes in landlord representation, and land sales in office and industrial properties in Richmond, VA.

Julia Howard

Graphic Designer

Washington, DC

Julia Howard joined Colliers in 2018 as a Senior Client Services Coordinator before transitioning into her role as a Graphic Designer on the Marketing Team in early 2020. She specializes in designing both print and digital materials for the  Capital Markets team in Richmond, VA.  Her eye for branding and years of experience in marketing allows her to produce designs uniquely specialized to the needs of the client. Julia works closely with the rest of the marketing team to establish strategy, produce social media content, develop email marketing campaigns, create high quality brokerage events, and generally promote Colliers properties. 

Prior to working at Colliers International, Julia worked as the lead marketer for an Atlanta-based film production company. There, Julia managed a team of four promoters and developed her skills in graphic design, email marketing, event marketing, PR, advertising, UX design, branding, and digital marketing. She has worked in several event-based marketing industries and also has advertising agency experience on both the creative and accounts teams. Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Trevon Dawson

Assistant Property Manager

Richmond - North

Trevon joined Colliers as an assistant property manager supporting the Government Solutions Group on 4 million square feet of government-leased assets. His responsibilities include assisting the property manager with day-to-day operations and working closely with vendors, clients, and the service team.

Prior to Colliers, Trevon worked for Greystar Management as an assistant property manager in Washington, DC. During his time at Greystar, Trevon managed a 2 million dollar asset while he assisted in the leasing to stabilize the property for a sale. In addition, Trevon was an archivist and project manager for Sirius XM, where he mastered his organizational and meticulous capabilities.
