Colliers Announces Multiple Promotions within Brokerage

RICHMOND and NORFOLK, Va., February 15, 2022 – Colliers is thrilled to announce the promotion of six team members within its Central and Southeast Virginia brokerage operations.


Lang Williams, SIOR

Lang Williams, SIOR was promoted to executive vice president. Williams specializes in representing landlords and tenants in the sale and lease of industrial, land, and office properties. With over twenty-six years’ experience in commercial real estate brokerage, Williams has negotiated for his tenant clients over $88 million in savings. Williams received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business and his Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Virginia.


Mark Williford

Mark Williford was promoted to senior vice president. Williford specializes in investment sales transactions throughout Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region. With over ten years’ experience in the industry, Williford has successfully represented institutional and private clientele in the disposition and acquisition of over $1.7 billion in income producing commercial real estate. Prior to joining Colliers, Williford was a director at HFF in Denver, Colorado.


Garrison Gore

Garrison Gore was promoted to vice president just four months after he received his last promotion. Gore specializes in multifamily sales and development where he participates in all facets of the investment transaction process including investor communication, financial analysis, analytical decision support, and technical expertise. With over $1 billion in transaction experience, Gore is an expert in procuring, facilitating, and executing opportunities to enhance clients’ real estate strategies. Gore joined Colliers as an intern in May of 2017 and attended the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, where he studied finance and real estate. 


Frank Hargrove

Frank Hargrove was promoted to assistant vice president. Hargrove focuses on tenant and landlord representation for industrial and office owners and users. His market knowledge, proficiency negotiating, and wide transactional experience allow him to consistently deliver superior outcomes. Prior to joining Colliers, Hargrove managed AstraZeneca’s nine million square foot real estate portfolio in North and South America as a senior analyst at JLL. A Virginia Military Institute graduate, (“VMI”),  Hargrove sits on the Board of Directors for the VMI Club of Richmond serving as vice president.


Harrison McVey

Harrison McVey was promoted to senior associate. McVey joined Colliers in 2018 focused on representing tenants and landlords in industrial sales and leasing. McVey’s meticulous approach to understanding the Richmond industrial market enables him to deliver best-in-class opportunities for his clients. In addition to graduating from James Madison University, McVey is on the YP Leadership Council for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Virginia, committee member of Richmond Ducks Unlimited, GRACRE Young Professionals, and is a Colliers Emerging Leaders member. Prior to Colliers, McVey worked as a portfolio researcher at CoStar.


Laura Hess

Laura Hess was promoted to a senior client services coordinator. Hess joined Colliers in October of 2020 as a client services coordinator focused on supporting the marketing and administrative functions for Norfolk’s industrial portfolio. Prior to Colliers, Hess worked for The Virginian-Pilot for twelve years where she mastered the art of sales, marketing, and managing client relationships.  Most recently, Hess was a licensed realtor with Rose & Womble Realty Co.

With over 8 years of commercial real estate experience he has successfully represented private, high-net worth and institutional clientele in the successful disposition of retail, mixed-use, office and industrial assets totaling $1.7B+.  

Prior to joining Colliers International, Mr. Williford was a Director at HFF in Denver, Colorado, one of the largest and most successful commercial real estate capital intermediaries serving the United States and Western Europe. Prior to joining HFF, Mr. Williford was a leasing broker with SullivanHayes focused on tenant and landlord representation where he completed more than 500,000 square feet of lease transactions. He began his career in real estate as an intern at The Wilton Companies in Richmond, Virginia.

Frank Hargrove III

Frank focuses on landlord and tenant representation, lease negotiation, and the disposition of commercial properties. 

Prior to joining, he worked at JLL managing AstraZeneca’s 9 million square foot real estate portfolio in North and South America consisting of office, industrial, and lab space. 

After graduating from the Virginia Military Institute, Frank worked for CBRE in Washington D.C. on a team that handled transactions for the United States Postal Service. As a Transaction Manager he negotiated 122 leases across the United States.

Harrison McVey joined Colliers International in the fall of 2018 with a primary focus on Industrial sales and leasing. Since joining the company, Harrison has represented Tenants, Landlords, Sellers, and Buyers across all product lines.
