Richmond, VA – December 22, 2020 Colliers International Virginia, LLC is pleased to announce the sale of 8090 Villa Park Drive in Richmond, VA for $2,875,000.00. Heart of Virginia Council, Boy Scouts of America (“BSA”) will be relocating its headquarters from 4015 Fitzhugh Avenue and are expected to occupy the new facility in April of 2021.  Renovations are expected to begin in January.

8090 Villa Park Drive is a 26,290 square foot office building on 4.99 acres and retains functional and efficient floor plans.  The new facility is nearly double its current Virginia footprint and enables the youth organization to serve as a retail outlet, training center, and scouting corporate headquarters all in one. It is centrally located and boasts immediate access to I-95, providing easier access to its scouts from all over Virginia. In 2019, the organization served 11,107 members ranging from five to twenty years old.

“It was a sincere pleasure being able to work with Boy Scouts on its hunt for a new headquarters,” said Rebecca Barricklow, assistant vice president. “It was challenging to find a building that met all its requirements but once we came across this property, we knew it was for them.  The building will be transformed into a state-of-the-art facility that will have an incredible impact on its future as an organization and its Virginia community.”
