Amanda Lavi, CCIM and Gerrit Hillebrand, CCIM join three other designees in the Colliers | Reno office
Reno, NV, October 28, 2021 - Colliers | Reno is excited to announce Amanda Lavi, CCIM and Gerrit Hillebrand, CCIM recently earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute. This designation represents proficiency in investment, market, and financial analysis, as well as negotiation. Designees are equipped to minimize client risk and maximize client return on investment, and are better able to accelerate client success. Commercial real estate professionals must compile a transaction portfolio, complete more than 160 hours of real estate education, and pass a cumulative test. Amanda and Gerrit join three other Colliers professionals in the Reno office with the CCIM designation.
Amanda, a Texas native, began her real estate career at Houston’s Moody Rambin, providing marketing and research support to their team of brokerage professionals. She joined Colliers as a Senior Associate in February of 2021 after three years with LOGIC Commercial Real Estate in Reno. Prior to LOGIC, she was an Advisor at SVN Gold Dust Commercial Associates. As a member of the Board of Directors for CREW, and as a member of CCIM, ICSC, and NAIOP, she has stayed connected to the real estate community in Reno. Amanda specializes in both Retail and Office properties, with a specific focus on Adaptive Reuse projects. Amanda said she was “proud to have earned the CCIM designation and will use the education and resources to continue to provide a high level of service and expertise to my clients.”
Gerrit got his start in real estate with Momentum Brokers out of Phoenix, Arizona, where he spent three years learning the multifamily investment business. After two years with SVN Gold Dust Associates in Reno, Gerrit joined Colliers as Vice President, and plans to expand Colliers’ multifamily footprint in the region. With 17 years in the real estate business, Gerrit prides himself on providing best in class service and delivering premium results for his clients. Regarding his new designation, Gerrit said, “CCIM is a valuable educational platform, matched by their network of top tier professionals and industry leaders around the world. I’m honored to have earned a position among their ranks, and will use the methods and models learned throughout my journey toward the pin to best serve my clients for years to come.”
