6 local professionals have earned a coveted spot among the top 10% of Colliers brokers nationwide

February 22, 2022 [Philadelphia, PA] – Colliers International in Philadelphia is pleased to announce that six members in the Philadelphia Tri-State region have earned a coveted spot among the top 10% of Colliers brokerage professionals in the U.S. based on revenue production. As a member of the prestigious Everest Club, Colliers honors their success as a top producer, and recognizes their dedication to service excellence and fostering client relationships.

2021 Everest Club Inductees

A historic first
2021’s Everest inductee class represents a special historic first. Summer Coulter, Executive Vice President of the Industrial Division is the first woman to have achieved this distinction at Colliers in the Philadelphia Tri-State region. 
“In a firm with more than 100 years of history here locally in the region it is an honor to recognize Summer as she takes her place in it. Summer Coulter has 15 years of experience in industrial and supply chain solutions, specializing in landlord and tenant representation, as well as industrial land sales for future institutional big box development. Summer began her career in Colliers’ California Inland Empire industrial market, now serving the Eastern Pennsylvania industrial marketplace.

Summer summarizes “CRE is a passion that continually challenges me and motivates me to reach higher. I am thrilled to have earned a spot in the Everest Club amongst this group of esteemed colleagues, and happy to represent this special first here for Philadelphia. It is so exciting to see other women coming up in this industry and finding success. I believe there is much more of it to come!”

Michael Zerbe

Michael Zerbe is a Senior Managing Director & Principal within Colliers and is a member of Colliers Logistics and Transportation Services Group.

He specializes in assisting consumer products companies and third party logistics companies with distribution centers across the country.  He also focuses on large distribution centers along the I-78, I-81 and I-80 corridors, representing clients in the acquisition, disposition and development of industrial real estate.

Michael has extensive experience in many facets of the real estate process including site selection analysis and ground-up development including entitlement and incentive procurement, property valuation, and transactional negotiations.

Summer Coulter

Summer Coulter joined Colliers in 2010 after 4 years with CB Richard Ellis. Summer specializes in landlord and tenant representation, as well as acquisitions and dispositions of industrial ground, formerly in the Inland Empire industrial market, now in the Eastern Pennsylvania industrial marketplace.

In addition to a long list of institutional clients represented on leasing and building sales, Summer focuses largely on sourcing and selling land for future industrial development. Over the course of her career, Summer has sold over 2,400 acres of on and off-market development opportunities resulting in over 36MM square feet of industrial buildings. Summer specializes in institutional quality developments, and has sold property to clients such as Prologis, Duke Realty, Clarion Partners, Trammell Crow, Watson Land Company, Seefried, Sares Regis Group, NFI, Goodman, Panattoni, and Cabot Properties.

Ms. Coulter’s extensive experience includes a substantial geographic area, spanning both coasts. Summer has successfully completed various types of transactions ranging from multiple owner assemblages, property re-zones, properties with environmental challenges, sale-leaseback transactions, and manufacturing re-development opportunities.

Richard Gorodesky

Richard joined Colliers in 1995 after originally starting in commercial real estate in 1988. He is primarily responsible for the firm's industrial brokerage activity in the City of Philadelphia, but also works with clients throughout the eight-county metropolitan region and throughout the United States.

Drawing on his extensive business experience as a former Chief Financial Officer and venture capitalist, Richard is well established in the Philadelphia business community. He has frequently been invited to present in front of the Philadelphia City Council, concerning the attraction and retention of industrial business in the city, and continues to maintain strong relationships with numerous public officials, including the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, The Commerce Department and several past and current members of the Philadelphia City Council.

Clients of Richard frequently speak about his professionalism and experience in handling difficult properties and complex transactions.

Richard sold one of the largest industrial properties in the country: The BUDD Company's 2.7 million square foot complex on 75+/- acres. He has also sold the largest industrial land site in Philadelphia (138 acres), twice.

Ian Richman

Ian joined Colliers International’s industrial division in 2006. He specializes in the leasing and sale/acquisition of commercial and industrial properties in Southern New Jersey. He is especially adept at developing acquisition strategies and assisting with debt placement options for buyers that require financing. Ian has much success in the sale of industrial properties by utilizing his background in finance to assist buyers in finding and then financing an acquisition.

Prior to joining Colliers, Ian worked in Commerce Bank’s Commercial Lending  Division where he was responsible for performing financial analysis for the  bank’s commercial loan portfolio.
