Colliers represented Ford Models in sublease negotiations with Arod Corporation, a business entity related to former baseball star Alex "Arod" Rodriguez

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA - Colliers International represented Ford Models Inc. in a 6,626-square-foot office sublease transaction in West Hollywood at the prestigious Luckman Plaza, right below the famed SoHo House West Hollywood.

Ford Models Inc., established in 1946, is considered one of the top modeling agencies in the world, with offices in New York City, Sao Paulo, Paris, Los Angeles and Chicago. Ford Models is a leader in the global talent management industry and represents a diverse list of models and celebrities.

The talent agency’s office space was over 6,000 square feet, which was more space than Ford Models needed. Colliers’ Pellow Office Team assisted Ford in marketing their existing space and finding a growing company to acquire it, which allowed Ford to reduce fixed operating expenses associated with their Los Angeles office space. Colliers represented Ford during sublease negotiations with Arod Corporation, a business entity related to Alex “Arod” Rodriguez.

“Office sublease activity in the West Hollywood and Los Angeles markets has picked up with over a million square feet of new sublease listings in recent months, which also presents an opportunity for tenants, as subleases typically trade at a discount to direct space and can have shorter, more flexible terms,” said Colliers Vice President Joe Remarcke. “We worked as a team to understand our client’s goals and implemented a strategy that provided Ford with the unique ability to immediately align their real estate with their changing needs.”
