Colliers Lansing helps longtime local business find larger location
DeWitt, Mich. — A longtime DeWitt business is relocating to expand the number of customers it can serve.
Chesme Capital Management will soon make the move to 240 S. Bridge St. after 17 years at its previous location. Colliers Lansing represented both Chesme Capital Management and DeWitt Commerce Place LLC, the landlord, in the transaction, allowing Chesme Capital to grow its business. The company is a leading provider of fiduciary services for retirement plans and families.
“Our business is growing and we’re thankful to Colliers Lansing for helping us accommodate that growth,” said Doug Vaughn, co-owner of Chesme Capital Management. “The advisors at Colliers were professional and knowledgeable of the area, and we ended up with a great new location in DeWitt to help us serve more customers.”
Chesme Capital wanted to remain in the DeWitt community and find a building that provided space for new financial advisors and room for future growth.
“This new location gives Chesme Capital Management visibility in a three-story professional office building, great parking and is close to its previous, smaller space for ease of customer access,” said Jeff Ridenour, associate vice president at Colliers Lansing. “Colliers Lansing was happy to assist a great local business in finding a new location that it can grow into.”
“Chesme Capital Management makes a great addition to this building, and we look forward to welcoming them to DeWitt Commerce Place and watching them grow into the space,” said Kelly Preston, owner of DeWitt Commerce Place.
Chesme Capital is planning to open its new office on Nov. 1 after minor renovations.
