Colliers Kansas City welcomes two new retail brokers

Colliers is excited to announce Chris Newkirk and Marc Knowles have joined the Retail Services team.

Chris and Marc join Colliers as Vice President retail brokers, specializing in investor and occupier sales and leasing. Their understanding of the complexity of commercial leases from both investor and occupier perspectives allow them to focus on the needs of their clients with a clear understanding of both sides of the transaction.

Chris' 16+ years of experience includes leasing for Crown Center where he signed Sea Life, Legoland, Spin Pizza, Unforked, Starbucks, La Fuente, and Burnt End BBQ as new destination tenants. Chris has also negotiated deals with several retailers including Skechers, Hobby Lobby, Freddy's, Texas Roadhouse, AT&T, and Anytime Fitness.

Marc is based in Wichita, Kansas where he has represented clients from Kansas City to western Kansas since 2017. He is intimately familiar with Wichita’s commercial real estate market and is optimistic about the area’s resiliency and potential. Marc’s history includes leasing for some of the largest commercial properties in Wichita, including NewMarket Square shopping center and the Cypress Medical Building.
