VanTrust Real Estate is pleased to announce the addition of a second speculative industrial building in Raymore Commerce Center in Raymore, MO. At 1,024,000 square feet, Building III will be one of the largest available industrial buildings in the Kansas City region.  Site work has commenced, and the building is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2022.  Purpose-built to meet the needs of modern industrial tenants, this building has been designed with 40’ clear heights, as well as expansive trailer and car parking. Brinkmann Constructors is managing the construction in partnership with GBA as the architect and Olsson as the civil engineers.

“As the need for consumer goods, e-commerce and logistic space continues to increase and evolve, this new building will offer the area a much-needed large block of space to continue to keep pace with user demand in the region.,” said Grant Harrison, director of development at VanTrust. Harrison continued, “the City of Raymore has been invaluable during the entire development process, we couldn’t have asked for better civic partners.”

In addition to Building III, John Stafford, Ed Elder, and Ben Boyd of Colliers Kansas City will continue to market both the recently completed Raymore Commerce Center Building I and Lot 2 which can accommodate up to 450,000 SF to prospects.

“We have experienced great activity on Building I at Raymore Commerce Center and continue to see strong demand in the south I-49 corridor. Larger tenants are attracted to the excellent interstate access and labor demographics the area offers.” -John Stafford, Executive Vice President, Colliers Kansas City.

“The Kansas City region continues to be out in front of industrial development across the country with a consistent and proactive focus on spec space,” said Chris Gutierrez, president of KC SmartPort. “The addition of 1 million square feet of spec space in Raymore Commerce Center brings an ideal large-scale offering to the market, furthering the region’s ability to provide speed-to-market solutions for companies needing to meet increasing consumer demands.”

“The entire team at VanTrust has proven to be a true partner in the development and transformation of the Raymore Commerce Center. Their commitment to the project’s success is evidenced by their continued investment into our community. The speed-to-market and construction of Building I has generated a lot of enthusiasm and excitement throughout Raymore, and we’re excited to carry this momentum forward with the construction of Building III.” -David Gress, economic development director City of Raymore.
