More than 500,000 industrial robots were installed in 2021… an all-time high exceeding the previous record set in 2018 by 22%. According to the publishers of Modern Materials Handling & Logistics Management Magazine, of the 180 supply chain practitioners and business leaders surveyed, 92% answered that they were evaluating robotics use cases or plan to do so in the next two years. Of that group, 74% answered they had robotics funding in place, in progress, or was not an issue.
