Colliers arranges sale of 320,219 SF Industrial/Office building in Indianapolis
Colliers has closed the sale of Franklin Road Business Center, a 320,219 square-foot, two-story facility in the heart of the east Indianapolis submarket. Situated just northeast of I-70 and I-465 at 2855 N Franklin Road, the 33.42 acres site offers convenient access to Indianapolis’ robust highway system — providing phenomenal connectivity to local labor, the central business district, and Indianapolis International Airport.
Alex Davenport and Alex Cantu of Colliers Midwest Capital Markets team facilitated the transaction on behalf of Franklin Road Realty. LLC. The asset was purchased by Legacy Capital Partners, Inc., a Denver, Colorado based private equity firm that specializes in the acquisition and operation of commercial real estate in rapidly growing secondary and tertiary markets across the United States.
Originally built in 1961, Franklin Road Business Center is a warehouse and distribution facility with office space. The building features 13’ to 26’ clear heights, 16 docks, 3 drive-in doors, a 239 seat auditorium, and abundant parking. The 75% leased, multi-tenant facility is home to five tenants including Nakoma Products, Barrette, and Siro Technology.
