Colliers in Houston is pleased to announce it has been ranked the first Best Places to Work (large-sized companies) by the Houston Business Journal and has earned another spot as a Top Workplace for the 12th consecutive year by the Houston Chronicle.

Colliers has been selected as one of the Houston Business Journal's Best Places to Work for the ninth year in a row. The list is compiled by Quantum Workplace, which sent a survey to employees of nominated companies and then ranked them by score. The scoring is based on employees' evaluation of their company's goals and leadership, communication and support, advancement opportunity and skill development, recognition and compensation, tolerance and flexibility, and embracing innovation and ideas.

Along with HBJ's Best Places to Work, Colliers in Houston has also been awarded a Top Workplaces honor by the Houston Chronicle for the twelfth consecutive year. The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement.

Employees gave top marks to Colliers extracurricular activities, formal and informal training sessions, and leadership's attention to their professional needs. From company blood drives and charity events to celebrating every holiday in full force, Colliers Houston knows how to collaborate together and celebrate every win.

"We are honored to be included on the lists for the Houston Chronicle and the Houston Business Journal," said Pat Duffy, president of Colliers in Houston. "We know how important everyone who works with us is, and the feedback from the employee survey of our staff and brokers validates our efforts to make Colliers the best place to work in Houston."

Colliers in Houston is involved with local charities as well. Around Christmas, the company sponsors children in the BEAR (Be A Resource) program. BEAR is involved with CPS assisting children in foster homes around Houston. The staff and advisors raise money to purchase the gifts on the children's wish lists and then gather to wrap and deliver the presents in time for the holidays. In the spring, Colliers hosts the annual Colliers Charity Golf Classic. This year's tournament benefits Rescue Houston; previous charities were The Women's Home, Vital Living, and The Periwinkle Foundation.

Colliers focus is on accelerating their clients' success by seamlessly providing a full range of services to investors, property owners, tenants, and developers. With offices in the Galleria, Fort Bend, and The Woodlands, the Colliers Houston team has specialized in selling and leasing office, industrial, retail, and multifamily properties for more than 65 years.
