National Property Holdings Breaks Ground On Katy Prairie Business Park


Houston based National Property Holdings (NPH) is developing Katy Prairie Business Park, a new 87-acre development offering Class A space suitable for a variety of uses. Located at Igloo Road between I-10 and Highway 90 and just minutes west of the Grand Parkway this location in the City of Katy offers superior connectivity and visibility. The ultimate development plan includes three institutional grade, tilt-wall buildings totaling over 1.1 million square feet. The long-term investment strategy for NPH on this project is to develop and manage all the buildings within the park, which will be leased directly to users.

ARCO Design/Build, Inc. broke ground last December on the new 59,000+ square foot Domino‚Äôs building serving as a manufacturing, warehouse and distribution center for more than three hundred stores in South Texas. Walls are currently being erected and construction of the Domino’s project is expected to be complete in Q4 2020.


NPH, which is represented by Robert Alinger of Colliers International, plans to construct two additional buildings available for lease from 402,480 to 680,940 square feet. Katy Prairie Business Park, across the street from Igloo Products’ headquarters, is one of several new projects in the Katy area including Amazon, Costco, Medline and Ross Stores.

National Property Holdings is a developer of commercial properties and industrial buildings, both speculative and build-to-suit. Mr. Alinger is a native Texan and was born in Houston. He began his real estate career in 2006 after graduating from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.
