Robert Alinger

Principal & Director

Houston

Robert Alinger specializes in the leasing, disposition, acquisition, and site selection of industrial land, industrial, and distribution properties in Houston and the greater gulf coast region. His expertise with site entitlements, new development, and project leasing has established his reputation as a leading service provider to the industrial development community. Robert also has a unique understanding of rail served properties. In the last five years he has completed the sale of 1,800 acres of rail served land and the leasing and disposition of 3.5M square feet of rail served buildings.

Mr. Alinger joined Colliers in 2019, was named Principal in 2020, and elected to the Board of Directors in 2021. In his first three years with Colliers, he completed more than $500 million in transactions and was the 2021 Top Producer in the Houston office during the companies highest grossing year. Since 2016, Robert represented National Property Holdings, a Houston based Industrial Development Firm, in the acquisition of 20 tracts of land, totaling more than 1,550 acres. He facilitated the development and leasing of these business parks, and currently represents their growing portfolio of more than 8.5M square feet of Class A industrial space.

Mr. Alinger is a native Texan and was born in Houston. He began his real estate career in 2006 after graduating from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.

Jay Kyle is a Principal and Director of Colliers in Houston, Texas. Jay has more than 20 years of experience in nearly every aspect of the real estate industry, from direct tenant representation to the negotiation of sophisticated investment opportunities on behalf of top tier portfolio managers. Norm Munoz

Mr. Munoz has been involved in the commercial real estate business for 27 years.  

Prior to joining Colliers Appelt Womack Inc., dba Colliers in 2000, Norm worked from 1992 to 1999 with Baca Landata, Inc. (a subsidiary of Stewart Title) and The Baca Group.  The Baca companies were the leading local providers for commercial real estate information and as Vice President and Senior Analyst he was responsible for writing the nationally recognized Houston Office Market Guide each quarter, developing new business and servicing clients.

From 1990 to 1992, Mr. Munoz was a Research Analyst with Property Research & Investment Consultants, Inc. responsible for tracking the absorption, lease rates and occupancy each quarter for 1,800 general purpose and medical-professional office buildings.  Property Research was the first real estate information company to systematically survey Houston’s office and industrial markets and its methodologies and level of accuracy set the standard for today’s commercial real estate industry.

Norm’s attention to detail, ability to interpret raw data and his market knowledge, coupled with his working experience with the leading commercial brokerage firms, building owners, REITS, developers, property management companies and financial institutions make him an asset to his client’s real estate decision-making process.

John Nicholson

John specializes in industrial representation for logistics companies, manufacturing and corporate user’s of space.  He works with his clients to execute cost reduction strategies, multi-market transactions, site selection, build to suit projects, disposition of surplus property and overall portfolio management.

John has negotiated more than 800 transactions in his career totaling over One Billion dollars in transaction value. Responsible for assuring the client’s interests are represented, John has saved his clients an estimated 20% - 25% in total occupancy cost, as well as mitigating the client’s risk and exposure throughout each transaction.

Before joining Colliers John was President of Douglas Development Partners.

John also served as the Executive Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield and Senior Vice President at Transwestern during the course of his career.

Prior to the commencement of his commercial real estate career, John was a second round draft pick in the Major League Draft by the Colorado Rockies.

Bob Parsley

Mr. Parsley has been involved in and responsible for all phases of commercial real estate brokerage activity over the past 37 years. A native Houstonian, he returned to Houston after graduating from law school in 1979 to serve as an attorney with Bracewell & Patterson, specializing in corporate law. In 1983, he joined Colliers, where he is one of the company’s principal shareholders. He served as President and CEO of Colliers’ Houston office prior to assuming the position of Co-Chairman in 2004 and Chairman in 2020. He brings a wide range of real estate experience, along with an understanding of the legal issues involved in real estate transactions. He has represented a broad range of corporate clients, both public and private, in office and industrial sales and office tenant rep lease transactions in Houston and throughout the USA. Bob currently serves as a member of Colliers’ Tenant Advisory Council, Healthcare Services Group and Law Firm Services Group. Bob has been one of the top two producers in the Colliers Houston office for the past fifteen years. He has also been a Colliers Everest Award recipient since the inception of the award, which is granted to the top 10% of producers for Colliers in North America. Bob was recognized as a Connect Media CRE 2020 Top Broker with over $403 million of deals executed in 2019, and in 2018 he was recognized as the #2 ranked Heavy Hitter for office tenant representation in the greater Houston area with over $200 million in gross dollar value of deals executed in 2017. The SIOR designation that he carries signifies the highest level of accountability and ethical standards in commercial real estate.
